About Wood’s Homecare

Personal, Local, and Built on Real Experience

MY STORY

Hello, I’m Zak. I’ve worked in care for over 15 years, gaining experience across a variety of settings including home care, supported living, day centres, and youth clubs. I hold recognised qualifications in Health and Social Care, and I’ve been proudly working as an independent care provider since 2018.

Throughout my career, I’ve supported individuals with a wide range of needs — from terminal illnesses to long-term conditions, and those simply looking for help with day-to-day tasks. I understand that no two people are the same, and that’s why I believe in providing care that’s flexible, personal, and built around you and your family.

My Commitment

As a friendly, professional, and reliable carer, my aim is always to put you at ease and ensure you feel confident in the support you receive. I personally plan, arrange, and deliver all care packages — no middlemen, no call centres — just genuine, consistent care you can trust.

I offer affordable home care services across Westmorland and Furness, supporting you to live comfortably, confidently, and safely in your own home.

Introducing home care doesn’t need to be overwhelming. My job is to make the process as smooth, seamless, and stress-free as possible — giving you peace of mind from the very start.

If you have any questions or would like to know more, I’m just a call or message away.
